On Tuesday 28 February, 43 students from Marden Senior College & Open Access College completed the RAN (Responding to Abuse and Neglect) training at OAC Marden in the Hall.
Students participated in nine sessions on the day, including: how to respond to concerns regarding children and young people, definitions and indicators of abuse and neglect, and the standards of professional practice.
This training is part of the unit Identify and respond to children and young people at risk as part of Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care and Certificate II in Education Support.
Students received the RAN participation certificate at the end of the workshop.
