Free Parenting SA seminar: Understanding the boy code
Nationally recognised parenting speaker, author and columnist Dr Justin Coulson will help parents understand the ‘boy code’ and what it means for boys and girls, as well as provide tips for parents about how to help young people see beyond stereotypes as part of a free Parenting SA seminar to be held later this month.
The seminar is designed for parents of boys and girls in the teen and pre-teen years, but will help parents of children of all ages.
Justin’s presentation will address:
- the ‘boy code’
- what it means for boys and girls
- the importance of starting early to break the code
- the influence of social media and celebrity culture
- helping young people see beyond the stereotypes and be themselves.
The seminar will be held in Riverbank Room 8 at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Tuesday 30 May from 7.00pm to 9.00pm. Parents can attend in person or watch the webcast live. A recording of the event will be available to view online for 3 weeks after the event.
