Thank you to year 9 student, Mercy, for this report:
In term 1 the Year 9 Central Studies students went on an excursion to the Mortlock Library in Adelaide. It was really exciting and we had a lot of fun. Mortlock is a beautiful library; it looked like something out of Harry Potter! It’s around 180 years old, and was rated in the top five most beautiful libraries in the world. We were also able to get a valuable insight into what it was like for people during WWI, which helped us with our studies.
It was really nice to be able to put faces to the voices that we hear almost every day and to be able to socialise with teachers and fellow students.
